We specifically chose Kaolin Clay for our mask base because it is known as the mildest and most gentle clays on the market making it suitable for most skin types. It is an effective clay that helps to cleanse, exfoliate, and detoxify the skin absorbing excess oil or sebum preventing acne.
Sweet Almond Oil
Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil
Sweet almond oil is extracted from almonds and is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins A and E, and other nutrients that help to nourish and moisturize the skin. It soothes and calms irritated skin, making it an excellent choice for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. It also improves skin elasticity, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, leaving the skin looking more youthful and radiant. While it is an oil, it has a moderately low comedogenic rating of 2, making it unlikely to clog pores.
Glycerin
Glycerin is a commonly used ingredient in skincare products due to its powerful humectant properties. It attracts moisture to the skin, making it an excellent choice for hydrating dry or flaky skin. Derived from natural sources it is a safe and effective ingredient for all skin types. Glycerin not only adds moisture to the skin but also helps to protect the skin's barrier function, preventing moisture loss and keeping the skin healthy and supple.
Magnesium Aluminum Silicate
We use Magnesium Aluminium Silicate to control the texture and consistency of our Soothing & Clarifying Clay Mask. We wanted to make sure that it can be applied easily, spread smoothly and absorbed quickly for best experience and most effective results. Magnesium Aluminium Silicate is a naturally occurring clay comprised of magnesium, aluminium, silica, and oxygen. It is considered safe to use within cosmetics.
Titanium Dioxide
Titanium Dioxide is a common mineral used in skincare and beauty products for its ability to provide sun protection. It is also widely used to adjust the colour and opacity of cosmetics which is its main purpose in this case. It doesn't clog pores and is recognised to be safe for daily use.
Jojoba Seed Oil
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil
We carefully selected jojoba seed oil in our clay mask formulation because of its exceptional emollient properties. We believe in harnessing the power of nature to provide effective and nourishing products for your skin. Jojoba oil closely resembles the natural oils produced by our skin, allowing it to penetrate deeply and provide intense hydration without leaving any greasy residue.

Our Glyceryl Stearate SE is a fatty acid that is derived from vegetable oil, however, it also naturally occurs in the human body. It helps to stabilise oil-to-water emulsions ensuring the perfect blend of ingredients in our products. It not only enhances the texture of our clay mask, it also forms a protective barrier on the skin, helping to lock in moisture and keep your skin hydrated.
Cetearyl Alcohol
Made from vegetable oil such as palm and coconut oil, Cetearyl Alcohol is a fatty alcohol that helps to soften and nourish the skin but also plays a vital role in stabilising and thickening our clay mask formulation. Its unique emulsifying properties ensure a seamless blend of oil and water-based ingredients, creating a velvety smooth texture that glides effortlessly onto the skin. Despite its alcohol classification, rest assured that Cetearyl Alcohol is non-harmful and safe for your skin.

Dehydroacetic Acid

Natural Fragrance
Parfum (Natural Fragrance): CITRONELLOL, LINALOOL, LIMONENE
This product contains less than 0.001% of fragrance. This includes allergens, which are citronellol, linalool, and limonene. Citronellol is obtained from leaves and stems of lemongrass, linalool is obtained from lavender or rose, and limonene is extracted from citrus rinds.
